Saponaria Officinalis, most commonly known as Soapwort, is a perennial plant that grows in Europe and Asia. Its roots contain Saponin, a natural cleaning agent with great detergent and degreasing power.

The powder obtained from these roots is a 100% natural and biodegradable multipurpose detergent that does not pollute the environment. It can be as effective as common detergents, but without all the chemicals.

Soapwort powder is very easy to use and it can successfully replace all different cleaning products you have at home: It is perfect for washing clothes, dishes, for mopping and for cleaning surfaces, such as cooktops and tabletops.

Instructions for use:

In the washing machine: put 2 teaspoons directly into the drum, it cleans and softens and it’s also effective at low temperatures.
Hand-washing: 2 teaspoons in a bucket with water; mix and wash to make foam. No softener needed.
Dishwasher: 1 teaspoon in the detergent drawer. For a perfect result use Citric acid as natural brightening.
Hand-washing: Add a little bit of powder to a wet sponge and wash the dishes.
Floor cleaner: Add a teaspoon in a bucket of water and dissolve.
Liquid detergent: Add 4-8 teaspoons in 1 litre of water and dissolve. You can add a teaspoon of Sodium Bicarbonate or Citric Acid, make a gel with Goma Guar, and an essential oil of your choice for a nice smell! Shake well before use.
